Rejected petition Return all A and B roads to their pre 17th September 2023 speed limits.

The welsh government has over stepped their mandate with the almost total 20mph speed limit on restricted roads. The Labour manifesto stated they would implement this only on residential roads.

Therefore they should return all A and B roads to their pre 17th September 2023 levels. Only purely residential roads should remain at 20mph as this is what the voters were told would happen.

Why was this petition rejected?

There’s already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue, or if the Petitions Committee has considered one in the last year.
