Rejected petition Introduce a walk-in system to make GP appointments, to stop 1 hour phone wait times

I am starting this petition because every time I call up the GP practice, it takes an hour to get through and then no appointments left.
My proposal is for the Welsh Government to issue guidance encouraging GP surgeries to allow people to walk-in to make appointments as well as over the phone.

This experience happens with a lot of surgeries,
It’s impossible to get an appointment on the day, and you can’t book one for your day off.
They system is clearly not working.

Why was this petition rejected?

It did not collect enough signatures to be referred to the Petitions Committee.
