Rejected petition Support for the Palestinian People: Providing Refuge and a Safe Haven in Wales
We, the undersigned, call upon the Welsh Senedd to show solidarity with the Palestinian people who are suffering due to the current conflict in their homeland. We appreciate that the Welsh Government cannot directly intervene in foreign affairs, however, we believe that there are meaningful and substantial actions that can be taken to support these individuals in their time of need - offering refuge.

We call upon the senedd to action its commitment to human rights and inclusivity by supporting Palestinian annd offering refuge.
We urge it to work with the UK and international bodies - to be a voice for the displaced, and offer safe refuge, expand resettlement schemes and expedite immediate haven to the injured, ensure access to vital resources within Wales, and raise awareness among the Welsh population of the plight of the Palestinians.
We believe this will testify to Wales' human rights values, and be a voice with influencing global support for the displaced people of Palestine.
Immediate action is needed.
