Rejected petition Create a national English-language television channel for Wales

While S4C does occasionally broadcast programmes in English, ultimately it is a Welsh language channel and as a result, apart from the Welsh versions of the BBC and ITV channels, there’s no national independent English-language TV channel in Wales, for Wales. A channel of this kind would help develop the currently very small Welsh media sector and allow Wales to create and broadcast content in English separate from the BBC.
