Rejected petition Shared Parental Leave and Pay due to Perinatal Mental Illness, NICU and Baby loss for all parents.

Fathers and Partners at present have to go back to work in 2 weeks after looking after they partners and the trauma of the baby. This may result in the fathers struggling with their mental health.
Many fathers and partners have to be there to support their loved ones and due to no full payed leave suffer with their own mental health due to having to go back to work to early and not able to access support. Early prention is key to success for parents.

There is evidence that a new father is upto 47% risk of suicide. Evidence of early prevention and support and the cost of mental health in the workplace. I have all the evidence and research from 14 years of campaigning for all new parents.
