Rejected petition Reverse blanket 20 mph speed limit now do not wait until September, do not pass buck to councils.

A petition of over half a million people has recently been considered on getting rid of the new 20 mph default speed limit yet the Welsh government's response has been inadequate and seeks further delays and consultation at local council level. The government are the legislators and must now do just that by making a prompt and immediate reversal of this unnecessary and unpopular regulation which also uses more fuel and causes more pollution by making journey times longer.

More details

We the undersigned do not object to the keeping of 20mph with +/- 100m zones outside primary school, nurseries, old people's homes, hospitals and on all estates where speed humps are already in existence.
