Rejected petition End Scandal: Welsh-Funded Medicine Safety Company Blocked from Dispensing in Wales!
SCANDAL: Like many, I struggle with multiple medications. Daily blister packs are essential but are being stopped by pharmacies due to lack of staff and funding pressure. The solution is simple. The Welsh Government has funded PillTime, now the third largest pharmacy in UK, which has used robotics to automate the process since 2011, but Welsh patients can't access this service due to the awful My Health Online failure. The NHS England app works, so adopt it, and stop locking Welsh patients out of the services we pay for. Please sign.

I am petitioning to end the technological failures in the Welsh NHS that lock us out of essential innovation. The Welsh Government funded PillTime, which uses robotics to create easy-to-use medication pouches, but Welsh patients can't access this service due to tech failures. This is infuriating and dangerous. We need to adopt the NHS England app or collaborate with systems like Apple Health to enable e-prescriptions and streamline patient care. Pharmacies are overwhelmed with compliance packs, staffing shortages, and funding issues, putting patients at greater risk. It’s time to end the criminal incompetence in NHS Wales, My Health Online and eConsult. We must prioritise modernising our healthcare technology and ensure Welsh patients receive the innovative care they deserve. Join me in demanding immediate action to adopt the NHS England App in the short term and stop wasting money and endangering health. This is a national scandal that must be addressed now. Vaughan Gething has failed. Help.
