Ban balloon releases as a way of memorial tributes in Wales.
Balloon releases should be classed as littering.
Balloon releases kill livestock, Wild animals & Marine animals and should be banned.
More details
The danger is that livestock & marine animals can often mistake these remains for food, which can cause internal blockages in the stomach and intestines, ultimately leading to starvation and death. Marine species found with balloon remains blocking their intestines include sperm whales, dolphins, turtles and sharks.
