Rejected petition Force Water Companies to invest in their sewage systems to stop sewage pollution in our waterways.
Our waterways are exposed more and more to sewage pollution due to out dated, damaged and treatment works and sewage overflows which are unfit for use. Water companies who are responsible for this are doing nothing.
It is putting the lives of people who get in the water at risk, as well as damaging the ecosystem and wildlife in that area. I therefore urge change and action to be taken now. As well as standards or a law to be brought in to tackle this and enforce it.
