Rejected petition Bring back right to buy in wales

I have lived in my council house for almost 12yrs, I have kept this property in excellent condition maintained gardens and took pride in my house, also kept it looking nice so it blends in with the privately owned houses around me.. I have many memories in this house old and new, I would love the chance to say that I own it, this chance was taken away from me which I feel was very unfair. I work hard and have paid the rent for all these years, I feel I should be given a chance to own my home.

Why was this petition rejected?
