Rejected petition We are calling on the Welsh Government to teach food production and agriculture across all schools.
There is a serious need to strengthen the teaching of food production and agriculture in all schools to help pupils learn about the labour that is involved in the production of food, this should include classroom lessons and practical visits to where food is produced and looking into the contribution of agriculture to the Welsh language, rural communities and the economy. It is important that pupils understand where the food comes from and for them to understand the process from field to plate.
