Petition An inquiry into the availability of ADHD medication in Wales and resolve any supply issues.
On average I call over 30 different pharmacies in varied authorities to get ADHD medication, I am not alone in this gruelling process this occurs every time I get a new prescription.
Imagine waiting years to be diagnosed and medicated only to be told "we can't get your medication" , your body gets used to your meds and to have that taken away is inhibiting. Pharmacies can not order this medication, we are relying on left over stock and we are told to only take meds when we need to.

We are being told by NHS mental health teams to only take our meds when we really need to. The medication leaflets and the NHS websites stipulate not to stop taking your medication suddenly. With not taking the medication as we should we get withdrawal such as fatigue, insomnia, hypersomnia, vivid dreams, depression, headaches. How is anyone supposed to live, work like this?
There is nowhere to check if medication is in stock, the Boots app alone is not enough.
We are not getting support from the NHS mental health services, GP's or pharmacies as they can not do anything about the lack of medication as this is UK wide.
We can not be expected to carry on like this with no alternatives being offered. Its causing more anxiety, stress, depression, work absences and impacts on family/ network relationships.
We would like the Welsh Government to acknowledge there is an issue, people are suffering, its not being addressed, we matter too, please make us a priority.
