Plan funding was applied with village support for some minor road calming changes to be introduced - which most wholeheartedly support. Plans which have now been subsequently approved, despite widespread concern and rejection which will urbanise the village irrevocably.
External review of consultation and communication process between PCNPA, PCC & Design team ka Urbanists and all villagers. Allow village group to be involved wholly in process by consensus and transparent consultation.
Scrutiny of appropriateness of spend given council & government deficits.
Address the primary concerns – access to the village and pinch point parking which disrupts the traffic flow. Address accepted areas of potential speeding. Create a specific area for additional parking to remove rogue parking which would acknowledge and satisfy much of resident’s initial concerns
and scale back plan.
