Rejected petition Retain the current Maesteg Post Office in The Market Square, Maesteg.
The Maesteg Post Office is a very busy branch, which delivers excellent service. Many pensioners and mothers with children use this branch and it is very convenient and safe to access from the Maesteg Bus Stand. If the Post Office is relocated to the Premier Shop in Commercial Street, Maesteg, it means elderly pensioners and mothers with children will have to cross a very busy road to access Post Office Services.
Why was this petition rejected?
It’s about something that the Senedd or Welsh Government is not responsible for.
This is a matter for the Post Office.
We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards
