Rejected petition Ban all Dogs from Sports pitches in Wales

Keeping active, fit and healthy is good for everyone. With Children, youth and adults playing community sports on sports pitches we need these to be free of anything that could cause life changing injuries!. The most common barrier being Dog feaces. We need instant fines for dog walkers on fields. To prevent dog walkers taking their dogs on sports pitches and fining them if caught. Give parking ticket wardens and PCSOs the power to give on the spot fines whilst on duty.

Why was this petition rejected?

There’s already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue, or if the Petitions Committee has considered one in the last year.
