Rejected petition Hold a referendum about increasing the number of Senedd members

As you are aware, you are adding another 36 members to the Senedd next year.
I have talked to hundreds of people both in person and on the internet.
I have not come across anyone that is not angry at the plan.
We live in a democratic country, and, as far as I'm aware, the public have had no say in the matter.

There is a huge short fall in finances, even the Cardiff university has to make severe cuts including nursing training, and yet you have managed to fund another 36 in the Senedd

Why was this petition rejected?

There’s already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue, or if the Petitions Committee has considered one in the last year.
