Rejected petition Cardiff Council to commit the funds and a timescale to repair Roath Park Primary School

Roath Park Primary a 130-year-old school has been covered in scaffolding since 2021 after a piece of the roof fell. Since then, the building has deteriorated further. The scaffolding alone has cost £500k. Classrooms are dark and cold. The pavement is blocked, making drop off/ pick up dangerous. The school is at risk of closure. Despite the Council knowing the urgent need for repairs, it has not committed the necessary funding or a timescale to complete the works. We need to act now.
