Rejected petition Do more testing for endometriosis in NHS hospitals
Endometriosis has become a big problem for women all over the UK and this can be very hard to be diagnosed with. endometriosis is a problem that many women suffer with at any age before menopause. I would like to petition for women to be able to be tested for endometriosis when they have severe abdominal pain and not just written off by a doctor.
More details
Previously last week. I spent five days in hospital waiting for someone to do something with my abdominal pain. I thought it could’ve been my appendix but when they done blood tests turned out it was not appendicitis so my mum and me we pushed for a surgery to find out what was wrong because on an ultrasound scan we found there was liquid around my appendix and when I went out so they could remove my appendix they found out that I had endometriosis, which was accidental but to find endometriosis, it can take too many years to find out or diagnose you
I would like to make it easier for women to be diagnosed all over the UK.
Without the struggle of waiting years to find out what’s wrong with you and this can be a very serious problem for many women
