Rejected petition Bring back Islwyn Borough
In 1996 the borough of Islwyn was, against it's residents wishes, merged with Caerphilly and has ever since been part of Caerphilly County Borough Council with disastrous effects.
Islwyn was always a prosperous council and made sure it's whole borough was taken care of. Under Caerphilly we have seen a steady decline in our services available while more and more money is spent in and around Caerphilly Town and it's time for a change.
