Why was this petition rejected?
We can't publish petitions when the request is something that's already happening or something that has been announced since you started your petition. The Health and Wellbeing Area of Learning and Experience (AoLE) in the Curriculum for Wales includes “the development of first aid skills and an understanding of health conditions.” The statutory guidance includes “Learners should be provided with appropriate opportunities to assess and manage risk so they can keep themselves and others safe. Schools should also consider what strategies their learners will need to be able to safely intervene to support others who may be at risk, and this should include lifesaving skills and first aid.”
