Rejected petition The Union Flag should be flown on every County Council building.
Wales is a member of the United Kingdom. Some County Councils, (such as Plaid-controlled Carmarthenshire County Council) are averse to flying the Union Flag preferring to leave one of their flagpoles empty. This is a disgrace and shows disrespect to our proud nation.
The Welsh Government should issue new guidance to local authorities recommending that the Union Flag be flown alongside the Welsh flag.
