Rejected petition Limit the number of holiday lets and second homes to make way for local housing

The large proportion of second homes and holiday lets in rural areas make it impossible for locals to live in their own homes and villages. The cost of buying and renting continues to rise rapidly and social housing is extremely hard to come by. Meanwhile, local businesses such as hotels are struggling, costing locals their jobs. We need more support for locals in Wales to protect our identity and heritage.
