Rejected petition Introduce a bus pass for carers in wales
I am a carer for my mother that relies on public transport. My council does offer bus passes for disabled people and disabled people accompanied by someone, but not just for carers. For many carers that use public transport it is an expensive option that we can do without, because it means that we cannot spend money on helping the person we care for.
Why was this petition rejected?
It did not collect enough signatures to be referred to the Petitions Committee.
Petitions need to receive at least 250 signatures before they can be considered in the Senedd.
