Rejected petition End the ‘Nation of Sanctuary’ policy and hold a public consultation

I am submitting this petition because many people in my community feel that the Welsh Government’s ‘Nation of Sanctuary’ policy has been adopted without proper consultation with local residents. We believe decisions of this scale should take into account the views, concerns and experiences of the people who live in the affected areas.

Why was this petition rejected?

There’s already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue, or if the Petitions Committee has considered one in the last year.
