Rejected petition Reverse the decision to de-fund BookTrust Cymru's free baby book scheme

The decision to remove funding for this scheme leaves Wales as the only UK nation without this longstanding free baby book scheme. A scheme that has evidenced its value and impact over many years.

BookTrust is the UK’s largest children’s reading charity and their mission is to get children from low-income and vulnerable family backgrounds reading regularly, by choice and for pleasure. Their focus is on helping children in key developmental years.
