Rejected petition Allow NHS Wales to accept private ADHD diagnoses from providers they have evaluated and approved
Most GP surgeries in Wales refuse to accept ADHD diagnoses and prescriptions from private companies, despite the backlog. The reason often given by GPs is that some companies are 'unscrupulous' or have not been verified. This petition requests that the Senedd allow NHS Wales to reconsider this. NHS Wales could evaluate and approve certain private providers, as they have done for private healthcare companies that offer inpatient services.
