Rejected petition Pause remaining Cimla Active Travel works pending a new consultation and independent safety review

We call on the Welsh Government to pause all remaining phases of the Cimla Active Travel scheme until a new, representative consultation is carried out and until independent safety assessments have been completed on the works already installed. Cimla has 4,848 residents, yet only 224 people responded to the consultation on the Active Travel scheme, less than 5% of the population. Residents have raised concerns about safety, congestion and a lack of awareness of the original consultation.
