Petition Standardised aftercare information and follow-up after endometriosis surgery
Patients are often discharged without clear guidance and wait months for a follow up, regardless of surgical severity.
Conversely, the NHS routinely provides discharge information for many other conditions.
We call on Government to ensure the NHS provides standardised, severity-based post-operative information following endometriosis surgery, including recovery timelines, work/activity guidance, red-flag symptoms etc, thus improving patient safety, recovery outcomes and consistency of care.
