The petitions process is currently suspended in the run-up to the Senedd Election on 7 May. The process will be reopened after the election and it will be possible to sign petitions again then.

Petition Reinstate the additional weeks financial support to NHS bursary nursing and midwifery students.
Many student nurses and midwives can not make ends meet, and can not claim state benefits due to being in higher education regardless of having dependants. They are also expected to attend placements UNPAID working full 12.5 hour shift patterns identical to a registered nurse or midwife. Student Finance Wales has now removed the additional weeks allowance for courses over 30 weeks and 3 days from student loans due to a change in Welsh Government policy if the student has a NHS Bursary, making finances harder.
