Closed petition Abolish 24 hours 20MPH default speed limit - if it is necessary keep it during certain times.

24 hours 20MPH speed limit on restricted roads doesn’t make any sense. It can be timed if it is mandatory. For example almost no body would be running or playing or walking at 2:00AM who can be in danger of getting hit by a 30MPH vehicle.

Suggestion is to go back to old pre Covid speed limits. But if new limits are deemed mandatory then they can be timed.
