Rejected petition Ban smartphones in schools

As a parent and teacher I have become increasingly concerned about the dangers and distractions posed by smartphones. Parents, educators and medical professionals are now aware of the various issues surrounding smartphone use including: addictive algorithms, exposure to inappropriate and harmful content, attention deficit and grooming. In order to protect all young people and provide positive and focussed learning environments, Welsh government must ban smartphones in all schools.
