Petition Make it a disciplinary offence to leave the Senedd debating chamber in protest at another Member’s contribution
Plaid Cymru and other opposition MS's have left the debating chamber over disagreements and conflicting personal views of Reform MS's. This means that careful and considered debate cannot be conducted that accurately reflects all sections of the voting population of Wales. It is wasteful in terms of salary being paid to these MS's to use their time in the chamber to good effect. Leaving the chamber is disingenuous to a large portion of the electorate.
