Petition Make the shingles vaccination more accessible
I have suffered for the last 7 weeks with shingles on my face spreading to my eye causing blindness for a few days and inflammation on my brain, causing a seizure and collapsing unresponsive ending in a 2 week hospital stay. I believe this was due to a delay in getting the antiviral medication I needed.

I can no longer drive for a minimum of 6 months. It has affected my work, my life in general and how I'm able to look after my daughter. I now live with pain daily. I’m unable to have the vaccination due to my age - I’m only 33. The age limit is 65 to quality for the vaccination other than for those with a severely weakened immune system.
