Petition Grant access via the NHS to Lecanemab & Donanemab on prescription
I have been involved in Alzheimer’s research for 15 years and would like the opportunity to access drugs that could delay the symptoms of Alzheimer’s, not just for myself but for all suffering with dementia.

Lecanemab & Donanemab are drugs licensed by the UK’s MHRA, for the treatment of mild Alzheimer's symptoms. It is clinically proven to slow the progression of Alzheimer's disease. Clinical trials showed they slowed the onset of people with early Alzheimer’s Disease.
Nearly 1 million people live with Dementia in the UK, costing the economy an estimated £42 million per year.
Familial Alzheimer’s disease accounts for less than 1% of all Dementia cases. People who carry that genetic mutation will develop Alzheimer’s Disease symptoms before the age of 65.
