Petition No more delays: Get Enhertu for patients with HER2-low metastatic breast cancer in Wales
Enhertu is a treatment that can give people with metastatic HER2-low breast cancer more time. It is available to eligible patients in England and has been
available in Scotland since 2023, but people in Wales are still waiting. Access to treatment should not depend on which side of the border someone lives. We are calling for access through NHS Wales and a clear timetable for its delivery.

The tens of thousands of pounds raised by SheUltra Cymru for Breast Cancer Now supports research at Cardiff University. The project is investigating making triple-negative breast cancer more sensitive to chemotherapy. This is a different type of breast cancer to the low-HER2 cancer targeted by Enhertu, but it shows Wales' important contribution to breast cancer research. It doesn't make sense that important research is taking place in Wales while eligible patients here are waiting for treatment available across the border.
