Completed petition Ban the flying of Union flags from official Welsh buildings
We call upon the National Assembly for Wales to urge the Welsh Government to ban the flying of the British union flags outside official Welsh government buildings. This embarrassing display of insecurity and submissiveness by the Welsh government and our local council officials is a disgusting colonial habit that should have died alongside the ‘British Empire’ many years ago.

A modern, vibrant and confident Cymru should not provide a home for an irrelevant union flag that has never represented our nation because at the time of design England did not recognize Cymru as a nation.
