Rejected petition Review the use of the unfair algorithm to allocate A and AS level grades

Students around Wales have been unfairly awarded A and AS level grades not based on their personal past performance but on their school’s previous results. This is inherently unfair.
The Welsh Government has had 4 months to sort this out and have failed a generation of students.

Why was this petition rejected?

There’s already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue, or if the Petitions Committee has considered one in the last year.
