Rejected petition Ease the restrictive lockdowns in Wales that are causing hardship and misery for people & businesses

As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, restrictions have been introduced in the United Kingdom to attempt to contain the disease. The restrictions in Wales, know colloquially as 'local lockdowns' have been harsher than in England with curtailments on people's movement & travel, and in one case, Llanelli, people are restricted to the town itself. This is having serious incidental effect on people and is in itself causing harm, and simply replaces the harm of the virus with harm to mental health.

Why was this petition rejected?

It’s not clear what the petition is asking the Senedd or Welsh Government to do. Petitions need to call on the Senedd or Government to take a specific action.

You could try starting a new petition which includes clear actions that you would like the Senedd or Welsh Government to take, for example by explaining in which ways you would like to see local lockdowns eased.
