Rejected petition Change the 10pm pub curfew to midnight.

The 10pm pub curfew is causing more people to be leaving premises at the same time, risking a break in social distancing rules, increasing risk of fights and flooding the streets with cars, taxis and heavy footfall. The 10pm curfew is also encouraging house parties, as people generally aren’t ready for their night to be over at 10pm. The later the pubs are allowed to be open, the higher chance of maintaining peace in the communities and policing the guidelines of covid-19, keeping us safer.
