Rejected petition Allow Social Distanced Music Performances in Wales

During the COVID-19 pandemic England have legally been allowed to host socially distanced music events in indoor & outdoor venues across the country, whereas in Wales all the clubs remain closed wth a restriction on live music. Many clubs in Bristol have been running succesful music nights with no reported cases of COVID, which proves clubs can provide a COVID secure environment for customers!

We are asking that Mark Drakeford & The Welsh Government lift the restrictions on Live Music in Wales if venues comply with all of the COVID restrictions in place.

Why was this petition rejected?

There’s already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue, or if the Petitions Committee has considered one in the last year.
