Rejected petition Keep gyms open during Tier 4 restrictions in Wales.

Gyms are incredibly important for people’s mental and physical health. Saying people should go out and walk/run is great but not all people can do this and these are the people that suffer the most. Keeping gyms open would hugely benefit the mental health of a huge number of people. A gym that is monitored well is much safer than a supermarket as the number of people is constantly numbered, and the equipment is constantly being sanitised.

More details

Every day that gyms are kept closed, the number of people suffering severely from conditions such as depression, anxiety, and ADHD increases. People use gyms as an escape from everyday lives and as a place whether they can be themselves and achieve goals. People shouldn’t have something like this taken away from them.
