Rejected petition Support the teaching staff of wales and make them a priority to receive the vaccine
We all want our children to go back to full time learning. They desperately need the support of their teachers and interaction with their friends again. However, the government need to get it right this time. It is crucial that it is done in a safe way, so let’s make teachers a priority to receive the vaccine. They haven’t stopped working throughout this pandemic, and they have also had to cope with adjusting to this new way of teaching. Let’s stand behind all teaching staff and support them.

After a recent discussion with one of my child’s teachers it was so sad to learn how they are not a priority to receive the vaccine. No support for them, nobody fighting for them to be protected from this virus. They feel forgotten and lost too, just like our children do. All we want is some kind of normality back......but it has to be done safely. Face to face learning is so important, and from hearing what my child’s teacher had to say that is all they want. They have missed teaching, they have missed our children’s faces lighting up the classroom. So let’s make a start, let’s show our teachers how important and valued they are. Let’s get them vaccinated. Many Thanks.
