Rejected petition Match the new childcare offer in England of 15 hours for children aged 2
The UK Government have announced that from April 2024 all working parents of two-year-olds will be able to access 15 hours of free childcare in England.
However, this benefit will not apply to all working families in Wales, as the equivalent "flying start" program will not expand to all areas. Meaning funding is a post code lottery. This leaves Welsh families thousands of pounds worse off than their English counterparts.
