Ym mis Chwefror 2024, adroddwyd yn y wasg fod Llywodraeth Cymru wedi penderfynu rhoi gorau i ariannu'r Cynllun School Beat Cymru o fis Ebrill 2024. Mae hwn yn gynllun sydd yn cyflogi 68 o swyddogion ar draws Cymru ac mae'n wasanaeth sydd yn darpau deilliannau addysgol pwysig iawn i blant. Mae'n ffordd i'r Heddlu allu meithrin perthynas positif gyda phlant a phob ifanc.
